Swimming Pool Threaded Hosetail
ABS male BSP threaded to 1.5" hosetail push on connection.
The male thread is designed to be fitted into all 1.5" or 2" female BSP threads and we do reccomend the use of P.T.F.E tape to actually seal the thread. The hosetail side of the fitting is best used by carefully heating up your flexible hose in a cup of hot water and then fully pushing home onto the hosetail. The hose is then secured using a wire type jubilee clip. The wire jubilee is best suited to give maximum grip between materials to stop the joint from leaking or bursting off.
Please be aware that swimming pool pipe work is sized from the INSIDE and subsequently LOOKS bigger from the outside (most people wrongly believe their pipe work is 2"). We have placed a picture under the PDF download section showing the 2 common sizes in relation to everyday standard AA & 9V Duracell batteries as an easily referable scale.

ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is an extremely robust thermoplastic material which is ideal for swimming pool installations.
